Age: 1919, Serial No. 3097, Platen size - 4" x 6"

Founded by William Golding of Boston, MA, the company started in 1869, and by 1870 was known as Golding & Company. The company manufactured a variety of types of presses, from the table top Officials to the well-known Jobbers. The Golding Official line was available in sizes from 3" x 4.5" (Official #1) to 10" x 15" (Official #7).

Our restored Official #2 (4" x 6") joins five other Golding presses in our Collection.
