Description:

Few printing machines were made in Canada, but Toronto-based Westman & Baker. Founded by James H. Westman and George R. Baker, the Westman & Baker (1874-1922) was an exception. They produced equipment for printers and bookbinders for nearly half of a century, sold nationwide. Westman & Baker is represented at at our museum by a platen press and a guillotine.
