Description:
The Planeta FN1a was manufactured in 1938 in Coswig (near Dresden), Germany. Acquired in 2013, the extensive restoration began in Nov 2022 and included side-framing, repairing breaks and making missing parts. Six months later, we’re thrilled to see the fruits of our labour. The Planeta is an under-fed press, where the sheets then follow the path which delivers the printed sheets above the feeder. The same method was also incorporated, in later years, on the Wharfedales and Mercedes.
