Johann Georg Mailänder (1840-1914), founded Druckmaschinenfabrik Mailänder in Cannstatt in 1876. In 1888, Mailänder began making cylinder presses of various sizes, including the Piccolo Stop Cylinder Press. Built in the 1920s, our Piccolo is manually operated, and during the end of its working life, was used mainly for short runs of small-sized jobber work. Today, although restoration has been completed, the research is continuing on this rare treasure.
